Our Mission Statement - SISG aim to provide a unique free practical and support service for hearing impaired elderly individuals throughout Ayrshire; to help improve their quality of live and bring them out of isolation.

What we did in 2010 ...

  • 8,282 visits to hearing impaired people
  • 2,940 individuals helped
  • Serviced hearing aids within:
    · 34 Nursing Homes
    · 35 Sheltered Housing Complexes
    · 540 visits to House bound individuals
    · 4 Staffed Drop-In Centres
    · 2 Volunteer run Drop-In Centres.

With effect from Monday 9th January 2012 our new Head Office and Drop In facility will be Sutherland House, 123 Prestwick Road, Ayr, KA8 8NJ.   Telephone number 07790 562620.

The drop in will be open Monday AND Wednesday from 10.00am to 12.00 noon.
